I celebrated National Iced Tea Day (June 10th) with iced tea all day, but I ended my day at Red Lobster with two glasses of their Boston Iced Tea. I had never tried it, but I enjoyed it a lot. It’s tea mixed with cranberry juice, with half of an orange on the side of the glass. The cranberry taste almost overwhelms the taste of the tea, but it was still a treat. I also liked that I didn’t have to pay for a refill – several restaurants where I’ve gotten “special drinks” like this charge you a whole separate drink when you get a refill, but our server happily assured me that my refills would be free. I hope the rest of you had a great “holiday” as well!
