Ridiculously Beautiful Rockurwok White Pearl Teapot

The Rockurwok White Pearl Teapot, pictured here, is nothing short of gorgeous. I love the snow white color and am crazy about the brown accents.

Unique and GORGEOUS Tea Set (Absolutely Stunning)

I always say something along the lines of, “Click through for more information…” or “Click the link for a closer look…” but this time it is absolutely essential that you click through and see this gorgeous tea set up close and personal.

When I tell you about lovelies I find on Amazon, the only thing available for me to use as a picture is a tiny little (basically) thumbnail (like the one to the right).

Usually this suffices, but every now and then, the details you’re missing by not seeing it LARGE pains my tea-loving heart. In this instance, you simply have to see the larger version of these glasses. While the teapot is, itself, a real knockout, the glasses are where it’s at.

They’re simply spectacular.

Love this! I’ve probably mentioned on the tea blog a few times how honey-obsessed I am. Seriously, my love for honey is legendary. Not only do I use it in hot tea, I also turn to it for toast, fried chicken (drizzled on hot fried chicken is like something you would not believe!), oatmeal, grits, protein balls, etc. etc. etc.

Tea Cozies: Cute, Thoughtful, and (Very) Unique Gift Ideas for Tea Lovers

I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite tea cozies from Amazon for this “Christmas Gift Ideas for Tea Lovers” post. I only recently used my first tea cozy and fell instantly in love. There’s something extra, extra comforting and… you guessed it, cozy about using a tea cozy.

Talk about well-named.

The Red and Grey Tea Cozy to the right is one of my favorites. Given that I love cats even more than I love tea, it isn’t surprising.

This thick, durable knitted cozy fits large cups and mugs – making it as perfect for coffee and hot chocolate as it is tea.

The cozy is made of 2 layers of knitted fabric and thick enough to protect your fingers while keeping your tea hot longer. Cozy has 2 strings above the handle to keep it in place.

  • Made from 50% wool/ 50% acrylic yarn.

Twinings Darjeeling Tea: Sweet Addiction!

There are certain varieties (and brands) of tea that I always, always, always have on hand. Always. The tea you see pictured here, Twinings Darjeeling Tea is one of the ones I’m most loyal to.

There are other brands of Darjeeling but I haven’t found one I love as much. There’s just something about Darjeeling done right and Twinings does Darjeeling SO VERY RIGHT!

Did you know that Twinings was founded in London, England in 1706? Talk about longevity and on the job experience. Little wonder they’re one of the best tea brands in the business. You pick up a bit of knowledge over hundreds of years, I’d imagine.

Darjeeling tea is one of those teas that tastes exceptional iced or hot. For people like me, who drink tea all day and all night, this is a must. If I had to choose my favorite way to enjoy a cup of Darjeeling, however, it’d be hot.

Here’s the kicker, I’m a honey fanatic and add honey to most of the cups of hot tea I drink. However, even I wouldn’t dream of adding anything to a cup of Darjeeling tea. It’d seem… well, wrong. This tea has a hint of sweetness without adding anything at all. That, as well as its beautiful fragrance, make this one of my favorite teas.

This Heavenly intense black tea is from the foothills of the Himalayas, and it doesn’t let you forget its exotic background for one second.

Some teas are perfectly content to have a subtle, almost shy, personality. They’re subtle, so they don’t make a lot of noise. They’re just happy to be in your presence. Subtle teas are like, it’s up to you – if you want to add a little fruit, fine. If you want to stir in a little honey, great. If you want to eat cookies or pie as you sip, wonderful. Have at it.

It’s all about you, and subtle teas insist on being your second in command.

Then there’s Darjeeling Tea. Darjeeling Tea is the star of the show, with a delightful diva-like presence that I LOVE.

If you’ve never tried Darjeeling Tea, you have to grab some Twinings Darjeeling Tea and prepare to fall in love.

You’ll find yourself following the same ritual I do:

  • I open the box of Twinings Darjeeling Tea
  • I put my nose to the box and inhale the wonderful aroma
  • I joyfully brew up an amazing mug to enjoy, usually two cups because one is never enough
  • I wonder how I ever got along without Darjeeling

It’s a wonderful ritual and one I highly recommend.


Oh, Honey! Glass, No Drip Honey Dispenser (Where Has This Been All My Life!?!)

Ever come across something you had no idea even existed but it’s love at first sight? The kind where you have a, “Where have you been my whole life?!?!” moment? That’s what happened a few minutes (literally MINUTES) ago when I saw this no-drip  Glass Honey Dispenser on Amazon.  I wasn’t even looking for it (heck, how could I – I didn’t know it existed!), but it appeared as a “recommended for you” product and I am ecstatic that it did.

I use honey A LOT. A LOT A LOT. As a heavy tea drinker, I put it in just about every mug of hot tea I make (except for Darjeeling and fruit-infused teas). I also use it on toast and in every single bowl of oatmeal I make (which is in the thousands a year).

Friends, I love oatmeal.

I estimate that I wipe down plastic bottles of honey 10 times a day. Even when they’ve been given a bath, they still seem kind of sticky, don’t they?
